We'll I'm back from holiday now. I had a nice visit with my family in Nanty-Glo. Hope everyone else had a great time and have a happy new year.

A quick note today, I'm unofficially launching the notebook today. There some things I want to start writing about including one later today on burn out. I'm satisfied with the template for now and looking forward to getting the rest of the site up. Laters.

Good Monday

Well today I worked a little on the color scheme, and some more content in the Projects section. Not too much to report. I'll have a chance later this week and weekend to work more on this and get it ready for Jan. 1.

On another note digg got a face lift today. Looks pretty cool, the nav is a lot more user friendly, it's now moved to the top, they added a podcast section (it's in beta now), the page now expands with the width of you browser.

Shopping!?

Well, I was out doing so Christmas shopping today, crazy out there. I didn't get a chance to post anything yesterday but I did get some minor things worked out with the notebook. It's going to a crunch to launch on Jan. 1st.

a preset format

Well, the template is coming together. I gotta work on the color scheme and get some of the link lists organized better, but other than that it's working pretty well for for me.

I'm gathering together some project I'm currently working on, these are my personal projects and not company ones, I won't be talking about or showing any of that. Also I began writing a little about me section (I hate writing about myself, so this will most likely be a short section).

Looks like it worked!

Well this is going to be my first official post, at least as far as I'm concerned. I think I'm going to keep this first part of the blog, which I'm calling a notebook, as a running journal of building the site. I don't have my template set up in blogger or homepage and projects set up yet so I'm hoping no one actually reads this yet (I think I need to change blogger not to notify weblogs yet, I'll do that before I publish this). Well that's it for now and we'll see how this unfolds.
